The proximity to Slovakia makes project logistics easier, but does not replace checking the Austrian rules. The distinction between genuine self-employed persons and posted employees is important. What to clarify before the start
ZKO3 and LSD-BG
ZKO3 concerns the posting of employees. It is not a blanket obligation for genuinely self-employed persons working personally. For dependent or employee-like relationships, the classification must be checked separately.
Documents at the place of work
For employee postings, retention rules apply to notification, social security and pay documents, among others. For genuine self-employed persons we coordinate proof of contract and status.
Trade licences and implementation
Check possible service notifications and local requirements per trade. The contract designation and the actual site organisation must match.
